Introduction:

The Publishing work developed by the Adventist pioneers before the church had name or organization was established by God to play a prominent role in giving the everlasting Gospel to all people. A vital part of the church’s mission during this crucial time of earth’s history is to circulate literature. And as Lusaka Conference we are fully committed to this God given task.

Our Mission:

To make disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ who live a Christ-like life and proclaim to all people the everlasting Gospel (Matt. 28:18 – 20; Acts 1:8; Rev. 14:6 – 12) through print media and technology.

Our Vision:

People’s lives are dignified and are waiting for the restoration at the Second Coming of Christ Jesus.

Our Methods:

We work to realize our vision by distributing truth filled literature on health education, character development and quality lifestyle as well as working hand-in-hand with the entire church in teaching, preaching, communicating and healing.

Strengthening the Grassroots:

Goal – To establish the local church as center for literature evangelism with at least one Literature Evangelist at every congregation

Objective 1: To ensure every congregation has an established Publishing Ministries Department

Activities:

  • Conduct Publishing leadership certification training for District Pastors, Elders, District Literature Evangelism Leaders and Local Church Publishing Coordinators
  • Develop resource materials on the operations of the local church publishing ministries Department with strong emphasis on Church Manual provisions

Objective 2: To recruit at least one Literature Evangelist at every congregation

Activities:

  • Every Literature Evangelist to recruit one to two new Literature Evangelists at their local congregation
  • Share recruitment goals with district literature evangelism leaders

Objective 3: To establish home and church libraries in every district/church

Activities

  • Conduct library promotions in every congregation
